Hi, I am Portuguese, born in Lisbon, 15/06/1989.
I’m interested in the physics of complex fluid flows, which I mostly explore with the aid of direct numerical simulations (DNS). I’m also a high-performance computing aficionado. At present I work as a post-doctoral researcher at KTH Mechanics.
Education: 2017 PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Laboratory for Hydro and Aerodynamics, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. 2012 MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal. 2010 BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal.
