I'm a senior research engineer at the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (Aeronautics & Aerospace dept.) since 2008. I hold a PhD in Engineering Sciences and a DEA in Applied Sciences from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), a Master in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy). I have also been a NUMECA employee and a postdoc at the NASA Ames / Stanford Center for Turbulence Research (CTR). My expertise includes numerical methods for CFD, modeling of space vehicles aerothermodynamics, plasmas, MHD, HPC and object-oriented software design with C++. In particular, I'm co-initiator, main developer and project leader of COOLFluiD, a world-class computational platform for multi-physics simulations.
