The position is focused on the analysis of fluid-chemical-hydrodynamics of Liquid Lithium Systems, for IFMIF-DONES facitlity. This facility consists on a linear deuterium accelerator of 5 MW impacting onto a liquid lithium target for the production of neutrons, with the fianl aim at qualifying fusion related material required for future fusion reactors. 

The responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Analyze and simulate the thermo-hydrodynamic behavior of complex flows with liquid metals (or equivalent fluids) under conditions representative of the IFMIF-DONES lithium loop.
-Design and conduct complex experiments related to liquid metals (or equivalent fluids) under controlled conditions.
- Develop and refine systems for impurity capture and monitoring in liquid metals.
- Experimentally investigate the behavior of lithium in a vacuum and its interaction with systems in the vacuum line of the IFMIF-DONES accelerator.
- Interpret experimental data and compare it with theoretical models to validate results and optimize processes and equipment.
- Research and characterize diagnostic systems related to the lithium and vacuum systems of IFMIF-DONES under controlled conditions.
- Disseminate activities and results at international conferences and meetings, and publish findings in scientific journals.

You will be integrated in a international team, collaborating on the development on this interesting project. 
The required langage is english, though some knowledge on spanish may be helpful.
